This policy explains what RevNet collects, why, and the choices you have. RevNet is an app for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. We keep data collection to what the features need, and we do not sell your personal data.
Who we are
RevNet ("we", "us") operates the RevNet app and this website. For any privacy question, contact us at support@revnet.club.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, display name, and (optionally) a profile photo, when you create an account.
- Your garage — the vehicles you choose to add, including make, model and photos. Number plates you enter are stored privately and are not shown to other users or to businesses.
- Location — used to show what is near you and, while you run a live convoy or raise an SOS, to share your position with the people you have chosen. Live location sharing runs only while that feature is active, and you can turn it off. Background location is used only for features you switch on.
- Content you create — routes, events, club posts, reviews, messages and enquiries.
- Usage and device data — basic, largely anonymised information about how the app is used, to keep it working and improve it.
How we use it
- To provide the features you use — maps, routes, convoys, clubs, events, services and SOS.
- To connect you with other enthusiasts, clubs and local businesses when you choose to.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and respond to reports.
- To send you service messages and, where you have opted in, notifications.
Who we share it with
We share data only as needed to run the service, with providers who process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — our database, authentication and file storage.
- Mapbox — maps and location search.
- Stripe — payment processing for event tickets and, where relevant, business features. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
When you send an enquiry to a business, or post publicly in a club, that content is visible to the recipient or audience you chose. We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or export your data.
- Delete your account from within the app, which removes your personal data (some records may be retained where the law requires).
- Control location, notifications and sharing from your device and in-app settings.

Data retention and security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and remove or anonymise it after deletion except where retention is legally required. We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect it.
Children
RevNet is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
